Hagan Whitewashes Lansing Thursday, June 18th , 2048 A favor to his bullpen. That's what Alexander Hagan was doing at Modern Woodmen Park today as he blanked the Lansing Lugnuts in a 9-inning complete game shutout. "I went out there to try to eat up innings and help out our bullpen," the Quad Cities River Bandits right-hander said later. "I felt I had my good stuff, and it turned out my command was solid." Hagan notched 8 strikeouts, surrendered 2 walks, allowed 5 hits, and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long. Hagan's record this season is 5-and-5 with no saves and a 3.70 ERA.
