Vizcaya Tosses Shutout Against Drive Sunday, June 14th , 2048 Mario Vizcaya of the Hickory Crawdads really strutted his stuff on the mound today with a 7-0 victory. He was almost untouchable, bewildering the Greenville Drive with a 7-hit shutout in which he struck out 4 and gave up no walks. So far this year Vizcaya has made 14 starts, tossed 90.1 innings, struck out 92 batters and walked 20. His record is 7-4 with a 2.79 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .269 batting average. |
