					| | Dill Superb Against Carolina Friday, December 18th , 2048
All went well for Dan Dill of the High Desert Mavericks as he pitched his team to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Carolina Mudcats, limiting them to 2 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Dill on the day.

"Dan's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Mavericks manager Huston Street. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."

In the contest, the High Desert right-hander rang up 9 and surrendered 1 walk.

"He didn't give us any second chances," said Mudcats manager John Rodd. "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
