Stone Crabs Heading to Division Series Wednesday, January 22nd , 2048 The Lynchburg Hillcats were simply overmatched by the Charlotte Stone Crabs in the Round 1. The end result was a sweep, as Charlotte has cruised to the Division Series, with the final win coming at Ed Smith Stadium by a score of 8-4. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Alex Koral, who was named MVP of the Round 1. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Koral hit .667 with a .700 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
