Frisco Takes Division Championship in Deciding Game Sunday, October 11th , 2048 Eastern League fans were certainly not disappointed with this American League Division Championship. The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Frisco RoughRiders prevailing over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to advance to the Conference Championship. Frisco won the final game by a score of 2-0 at Dr. Pepper Ballpark and that sealed the series 4-3. "Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said shortstop Darnell Jones, who earned MVP honors. For the series, Jones hit .455 with a .520 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 1 runs.
