No Comeback This Season for Garcia Tuesday, September 22nd , 2048 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Akron's Eduardo Garcia to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 09/20/2048 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Garcia said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Garcia has been out of action since he suffered a torn rotator cuff. Garcia has earned no saves and a 10-1 mark this season with a 3.06 earned run average in no relief appearances. He has worked 114.2 innings, yielded 95 hits, struck out 109 batters and walked 28. |
