Chafe Gets 5 Hits Sunday, September 20th , 2048 Birmingham Barons left fielder Kevin Chafe wielded a big stick today against the Midland RockHounds and his club walked off the field winners by the score of 10-9. Chafe helped tame Midland with 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Kevin Chafe singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Adam Wood in the 7th, singled in the 10th and hit a two-run double in the 11th. This season Chafe is batting .328 with 44 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 23 times and has 25 RBI. |
