August's Starter of the Month Goes to Winsor Tuesday, September 1st , 2048 The American League announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award for August. It went to Tom Winsor of Chattanooga for his outstanding 4-0 record and 1.91 ERA. Winsor also chalked up 6 starts, 42.1 innings and 39 strikeouts.
