Dunmire Struts Stuff in Win Over Pensacola Thursday, July 30th , 2048 Andy Dunmire of the San Antonio Missions was on fire against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium today. He shut them out 15-0 on 3 hits, collecting 17 strikeouts and allowing 2 walks. "The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Dunmire said later. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that." For the year Dunmire has earned 2 saves, made 7 relief appearances, fanned 129 hitters in 118.2 innings and posted an ERA of 2.58 and a 2-5 record. |
