Parsnip Silences Reading, 7-0 Friday, May 15th , 2048 Altoona Curve starter Jeremy Parsnip tamed the Reading Fightin Phils, 7-0, on 5 hits, finishing the game with 8 strikeouts and no walks in a sharp outing. "I enjoy facing a team like that where I can get an out on one, two or three pitches," Parsnip said. "It gives me a chance to be a lot more aggressive."
