Memphis Takes Conference Championship Friday, October 23rd , 2048 The Memphis Redbirds have eliminated the Las Vegas 51s and are off to the World Series. Memphis won the final game by a 3-1 score and thus clinched the series 4-2. "We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Dan Lash, who was named series MVP. For the series, Lash hit .364 with a .481 on-base percentage. He drove in 4 RBI and scored 1 runs.
