Red Wings Flame Out Against Hoeye, Clippers Friday, September 25th , 2048 The Rochester Red Wings met their match today in Columbus hurler Josh Hoeye. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Rochester skipper Nicholas Carrey said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 5-0 victory, Hoeye whiffed 7 and gave up 2 walks. This year Hoeye has a 21-8 record and a 2.50 ERA. |
