Season Over for Poindexter Saturday, August 8th , 2048 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Iowa's Harry Poindexter to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/06/2048 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Poindexter said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Poindexter has been out of action since he suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. This year his stats show Poindexter has 1 save in 33 relief appearances with a 3-3 record and 3.30 ERA. |
