LF Zhang Given 4-Game Suspension Thursday, August 6th , 2048 Following an intense confrontation with the home plate umpire in which he was ejected, Cubs left fielder Seung-ho Zhang was suspended 4 games by the league. Zhang had to be physically restrained by his manager and appeared to make a few threats toward the umpire. He was upset by a called third strike in a game with Indianapolis at Principal Park. Zhang could not be reached for comment on the suspension. So far this year Zhang has hit .244 with 5 home runs, 41 RBIs and 51 runs scored. |
