Miller Stops Fresno Cold, 6-0 Friday, May 1st , 2048 It was a smooth and solid performance by Andy Miller of the Toledo Mud Hens against the Fresno Grizzlies today. He crafted a fine 4-hitter to blank the Grizzlies 6-0. He chalked up 8 strikeouts and 2 walks along the way. "It certainly makes my job easy when my pitcher tosses a shutout," said Toledo skipper Pheart Hed. "I can just sit back, watch and enjoy." To date this year Miller has compiled a 1-3 mark with a 3.49 ERA in 6 starts. |
