					| 6-2 Triumph Runs Brewers Streak to 6 Games |
					| The Milwaukee Brewers got a stellar effort from pitcher Mekonen Mahfudh, helping Milwaukee score a win over the visiting Washington Nationals, 6-2. Chris Geraci earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record is now 1-2. The Nationals fall to 11-14 and continue to sputter in the early going.
Akitada Nishizawa, who finished 4th in the NL in runs with 110 last year, helped out the Milwaukee cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring triple. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3 with a triple and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Milwaukee manager Andy Pafko III.
