					| Reds Fall Short, 2-1, at Chicago |
					| The Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds put on a pitchers' duel.
Chicago White Sox starter Ricky Salas turned in an exceptional performance against the Cincinnati Reds at U.S. Cellular Field, resulting in a Chicago win, 2-1. The save went to Rhett Beers, his 4th this season.

The White Sox got a big at-bat from right fielder Gus Berry. For the game, Berry went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Chicago a 2-1 lead.

Salas attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."

 Cincinnati falls to 13-10.
