Angels 1B Velasco hits 2 home runs in Win
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 11-time All-Star Ruben Velasco, the California Angels stopped the Baltimore Orioles, 7-1. The Angels, now 14-7, have been playing some good baseball.

With California leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Velasco hit a forkball from Mark Gehring for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Angels ahead, 3-0.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said California skipper Dakota Wise.
