					| Giants Lose to Rockies, 6-5 |
					| In a tight contest at AT&T Park, the Colorado Rockies edged the San Francisco Giants by the score of 6-5. Colorado right fielder Freddy Troncoso, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Colin Lancey Jr. got the win, improving to 2-1. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Tye Dickinson got credit for the save for Colorado. It was his 6th of the year.
Andy Vivas, the slick-fielding third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Vivas contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Colorado up, 3-1.

"If we keep winning the close games," Vivas said, "we'll be in good shape at the end."

The win has Colorado at 9-7.
