					| Extra-Inning Win by Rangers Over Expos |
					| The Texas Rangers topped the Montreal Expos by the score of 6-5, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Butch Kaiser. Kaiser went 4-8 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times for the Rangers. Reliever Isaburo Ishihara picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Joel Montenegro took the loss. The win lifts Texas to a record of 4-3.
The Rangers procured the win, in large part because of second baseman John Giesbrecht. In the bottom of the 15th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Giesbrecht said.
