		| Great Day for Maserang -- 5 Hits |
		| San Antonio first baseman Mike Maserang could do no wrong in today's 8-6 win over the Shuckers as he collected 5 hits.
"Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Shuckers skipper Alex Jackson said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts."

Maserang agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game.

"Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."

Mike Maserang singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 10th and singled in the 11th.

This season in 37 games, Maserang has hit at a .357 clip with 50 hits, 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
