					| Reds Double Up Braves, 4-2 |
					| Cincinnati pitcher Timmy John Aaron-Lee Frank Silveira did his part in helping his team beat the Atlanta Braves, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Eddie Grape nailed down his 2nd save. Cincinnati goes to 2-1 with the win.
Cincinnati relied on the hitting of Willie Lazcano to pick up the win. The third baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the Reds on top, 3-0. For the game, Lazcano had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Atlanta manager Andres Wray II said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
