					| Braves Edge Past Cardinals, 3-2 |
					| The Atlanta Braves faced a tough opponent in St. Louis pitcher Keith Anter, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Turner Field by a final score of 3-2. Anter went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Jeremy Kasten finished to wrap up his 9th save. With the win, Atlanta pushed its record to 94-60.
Had Erik Coleman not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Coleman hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Braves.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Coleman. "I think we showed that here."
