					| Phillies Solve Brewers, 6-2 |
					| The Philadelphia Phillies topped the Milwaukee Brewers, 6-2, in National League action at Citizens Bank Park. The standout performance belonged to Philadelphia pitcher and Sherrelwood, Colorado, native Sean Hill. Hill, now 7-17, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Brian Thomas earned his 16th save in 19 chances.
Cody Schumacher dealt the Brewers a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with a runner on 1st and Philadelphia leading 1-0, Schumacher, who finished 3rd in the AL in stolen bases with 50 in 2040, hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring triple.

Schumacher called the win "a collective effort."

The Phillies raised their record to 56-96.
