					| Dodgers Win Close Shave, 5-4 |
					| The Los Angeles Dodgers took San Francisco pitcher Keith Kidd's best shot and still were able to claim a win at AT&T Park. The final score had Los Angeles getting past the Giants, 5-4. Kidd went 7.1 innings and allowed 4 runs, striking out 11. The Dodgers now have a record of 71-81 with the win over San Francisco.
Los Angeles used the timely hitting of John Piccolo to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Dodgers on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame comments, Piccolo said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
