					| Milwaukee right fielder Eric Klasek helped his team beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 8-2. Klasek, who finished 4th in the AL in batting average with .333 in 2039, went 2 for 3 for the Brewers. The winning pitcher was Lewis Thorpe Jr.. His record is now 9-5. The left-hander went 7.1 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits for the Brewers. Milwaukee has now won 6 games in a row. 
 Klasek made an early impact for Milwaukee when he stroked his 25th home run of the season. The 2-run  home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Brewers on top, 3-0.
