					| Houston Bats Go Silent in 1-0 Loss |  
					| The Oakland Athletics scored a tight 1-0 win versus the Houston Astros at O.co Coliseum. Oakland pitcher Nick Kirk held his own in the contest. Elijah Daniels earned his 29th save in 33 chances. Oakland is now 79-71, Houston 61-88. 
 The Athletics got a big at-bat from center fielder Muneo Kawachi. For the game, Kawachi went 1 for 3 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo  home run. His 25th home run of the season gave Oakland a 1-0 lead.
 
 "We'll enjoy this win," said Kawachi. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
