					| Medellin Leads Detroit to 4-0 Win |
					| The Detroit Tigers got a stellar performance from pitcher Melvin Medellin, who handcuffed the Minnesota offense en route to a win, 4-0, at Comerica Park. The win has Detroit at 55-94.
Medellin made it look effortless. He scattered 2 hits over 7.1 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. The Detroit right-hander encountered little resistance from the Minnesota hitters. His season record is now 4-8.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Detroit manager Jeff Martin. "It's usually not just one thing."
