					| 5-Hit Barrage by Sanders |
					| It doesn't happen very often, but it did for John Sanders today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Oriole Park at Camden Yards and paced the Nationals to a 13-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles.
After his dynamite batting performance, the Washington second baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. John Sanders singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Dave Reisinger in the 4th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Hector Aguado in the 9th.

Sanders is presently hitting at a .303 pace with 26 home runs, 102 RBIs and has scored 84 times.
