					| Hasek II goes 3-for-3 in Blue Jays Win |
					| The Toronto Blue Jays topped the New York Yankees, 7-4, with youngster Dominik Hasek II playing a key role. Hasek II was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Blue Jays in the win. The winning pitcher was Javy Falcon. His record is now 14-4. The right-hander went 7.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits for the Blue Jays. Zach Ault notched his 19th save in 20 chances.
The fans who came to support the Blue Jays were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Rogers Centre.

"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Hasek II said (again).

The 4th-place Yankees have lost 8 consecutive games.
