					| Athletics Rally For 6-4 Win |
					| Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Oakland Athletics and Texas Rangers.
No one was more impactful than Muneo Kawachi in the 6-4 Oakland win over Texas. Kawachi, who is a three-time All-Star, was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. George Rubio came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-3.

One of the clutch hits for Oakland came from one of their biggest talents. In the top of the ninth with two out, Randy Shrewsbury, who is a three-time All-Star, hit a run-scoring single to put the Athletics up, 6-4. For the game, the second baseman was 2 for 5 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Chalk one up for the good guys," said Shrewsbury. "I'm sure our fans enjoyed that win."

Oakland's winning streak has reached 4 games.
