					| Cook Helps Washington Cruise to 10-3 Win |  
					| Washington first baseman Seth Cook made his presence felt in the 10-3 Nationals triumph over the New York Mets. Cook went 2-4 with a home run, a double,  and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3.  Chad Mangum, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 5 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 5-10.  At 56-74, the Nationals are currently 4th in the National League East Division. 
 John Sanders, who is a two-time All-Star, chipped in for  Washington with a 3-run  home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
 
 "Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Sanders told the Washington Observer.
