					| Nationals Deal Dodgers 4-2 Setback |
					| Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Washington Nationals got a stellar performance from pitcher Joe Hincks, who handcuffed the Los Angeles offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Nationals Park. Picking up the save was David Sly, his 29th.

The Nationals got an important contribution from right fielder Dave Vargas, who in the bottom of the third knocked a 1-1 slider into left for a 3-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Nationals ahead, 4-0.

"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Vargas. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."

Washington's record now stands at 52-72, placing them 4th in the National League East Division.
