					| Phillies Fall to Cubs, 4-2 |
					| The Chicago Cubs picked up a win at Wrigley Field, knocking off the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-2. Starting pitcher Randy Budgell played a key role in the triumph. Budgell got the win, improving to 8-6. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. Budgell allowed 2 runs. Chicago is now 62-64.
The Cubs got an important contribution from left fielder Heef Harted, who in the bottom of the second hit a fastball into right-center for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Cubs ahead, 3-0.

"Randy is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Chicago manager Mergatroid Skittle.
