					| Mets Earn 4-3 Win Versus Braves |
					| The New York Mets faced a tough opponent in Atlanta pitcher Curt Stevens, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Citi Field by a final score of 4-3. Stevens went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. With the win, New York pushed its record to 64-60.
The Mets procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Nelle van den Berg. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Rabdix Double Dip, the New York skipper. "This one tested us."
