The Miami Marlins relied on the hitting of designated hitter Jose Bregaro to stop the Washington Nationals, 8-7. Jimmy Groseclose was the walk-off hero for Miami. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Marlins right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Groseclose said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
