					| The Miami Marlins topped the San Francisco Giants, 6-4, in National League action at AT&T Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Miami pitcher Sean Geer. Tim Barnett earned his 25th save in 26 chances. The third-place Marlins have won 6 straight games. 
 Steve Barnard, the 26-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Barnard contributed a solo  home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Miami up, 3-2.
 
 "I like the roll we're on right now," said Geer after the game.
