					| White Sox Beat Cleveland, 6-5 |
					| Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Cleveland Guardians take on the Chicago White Sox.
Dieter Knoops impressed in the 6-5 Chicago win over Cleveland. Knoops, who finished 3rd in the AL in stolen bases with 36 last year, was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs. Jacob Taylor got the save, his 10th in 11 chances.

Chicago used the timely hitting of Gus Berry to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the White Sox on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We're all smiles after that win," Berry told the Chicago Gazette.

The win puts Chicago at 66-50 this season.
