					| Angels Lose By a Run at Oakland, 5-4 |  
					| The Oakland Athletics relied on the hitting of right fielder Robby Godwin to stop the California Angels, 5-4. For the game, Godwin was 2-3 with a home run and a triple, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Oakland is now 62-55. 
 Godwin contributed a big hit, a 3-run  home run, for Oakland in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Godwin took a changeup from Danny White and stroked the home run to left-center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Athletics to leap in front, 5-3.
 
 "It feels good to get this one," Godwin told the Oakland Daily.
