					| Reds Deal Tigers 6-4 Loss |
					| The Cincinnati Reds topped the Detroit Tigers, 6-4, in National League action at Comerica Park. The standout performance belonged to Cincinnati pitcher and Marlborough, Massachusetts, native Timmy John Aaron-Lee Frank Silveira. Junpei Yamazaki earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. His record is now 3-3. Jay Rapini earned the save for Cincinnati, his 2nd of the year.
The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Willie Lazcano came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing Detroit pitcher Kevin Hockenbury, he hit a 2-0 changeup for a 2-run double. It was a game-changer, putting Cincinnati on top, 5-3.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Aaron-Lee Frank Silveira said.

Cincinnati is now 58-56, while Detroit is 45-68.
