					| Angels Stay Hot, Beat Mariners, 3-1 |
					| The California Angels beat the Seattle Mariners, 3-1, at Safeco Field. Starting pitcher Jeff Baker was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. California has now won 8 games in a row.
California used the timely hitting of Terry Baginski to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Angels on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The clubhouse vibe is great," said California manager Dakota Wise.
