					| Athletics Curb Guardians, 4-2 |
					| Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Oakland Athletics got the win.
The Oakland Athletics beat the Cleveland Guardians, 4-2. Oakland pitcher and Saskatoon, Canada, native Corbin Schenn led the way. Schenn picked up the win for Oakland, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 14-2. Picking up the save was Elijah Daniels, his 12th.

The Athletics got an important contribution from right fielder Nick Gentzel, who in the bottom of the fourth knocked a 0-1 knuckle curve into left-center for a solo home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Athletics ahead, 2-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Oakland manager Daryl S. Oakland.

Oakland has a 3-game win streak, while Cleveland has lost 3 in a row.
