					| Angels Curb Dodgers, 9-6 |
					| The California Angels weathered a fine game by Los Angeles shortstop Clay Buchanan to upend the Dodgers, 9-6, at Dodger Stadium. Buchanan was 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Harambe Vick. His record is now 5-6. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits for the Angels. The first-place Angels have a record of 56-41.
California shortstop Nick Dunn helped his team take an early lead. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Dunn told the California News.
