					| The Boston Red Sox defeated the Chicago White Sox, 8-4, in American League action at U.S. Cellular Field. Boston pitcher Justin Whitesack had a standout performance. Whitesack picked up the win for Boston, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 1 hits. He now sports a record of 6-7. The Red Sox  now own a record of 57-38. 
 Kevin McCormic Jr., the fan favorite , had a direct impact on the outcome. McCormic Jr. contributed a 2-run  single in the top of the fourth inning to put Boston up, 4-1.
