					| Creel Excels in 5-0 San Francisco Win |
					| Getting offensive support from John Creel, the San Francisco Giants topped the Colorado Rockies, 5-0. Creel was 2-2 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Giants. Chris Moris earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 2-2. Jorge Sosa earned the save, his 1st, for the Giants.
Creel had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-2 cutter from Gabe Stokes, he banged a grand slam home run to left-center, giving the Giants a 4-0 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Creel.

Creel told a San Francisco Daily News reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.

The last-place Rockies have lost 11 straight games.
