Reisinger Sends Southern Maryland Bats to Deep Freeze
|
It wasn't easy but Allen Reisinger made it look that way.
Reisinger silenced the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, 6-0, in a Niagara Falls Phantoms triumph at Niagara Falls Casino & Resort today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Reisinger said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 1 hit.
"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
In 5 starts this year Reisinger has posted 2 wins while suffering 3 losses. He has pitched 34.1 innings, allowed 27 hits, struck out 35 and has a 3.15 ERA.
