					| Rangers Pull Even With 2-1 Victory |
					| The Texas Rangers relied on the hitting of second baseman John Giesbrecht to stop the Cleveland Guardians, 2-1. For the game, Giesbrecht hit 2 home runs. The winning pitcher was Gavin Nelson. He's now 4-3. He went 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits for the Rangers. Kyle Curve earned his 7th save in 9 chances.
With Texas leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Giesbrecht hit a fastball from Bruce Poff for a solo home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 2-0.

Afterward, Rangers manager Juan Smith III was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."

Texas, at 46-46, holds down third place in the American League West Division.
