					| White Sox Take Nail-Biter Over Angels |
					| There was no shortage of dramatics at U.S. Cellular Field.
Chicago beat California at U.S. Cellular Field, escaping with a 2-1 win. The win in large part was due to third baseman Dieter Knoops. He was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Reliever Jacob Taylor picked up the win. His record improves to 3-4. Willie Nieto took the loss.

The White Sox procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Gus Berry. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.

"This was a tough loss," said California manager Dakota Wise. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."

The second-place White Sox improved to 50-38.
