					| Marlins Eke Out 3-2 Win Versus Chicago |  
					| Miami Marlins starter Timóteo Metzener pitched his team past the Chicago Cubs, 3-2. The Marlins  raised their record to 37-52. 
 Steve Barnard, the 25-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Barnard contributed a run-scoring  walk in the top of the first inning to put Miami up, 3-0.
 
 "We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Chicago skipper Mergatroid Skittle.
