Guardians Drop Rangers, 6-3

The Cleveland Guardians topped the Texas Rangers, 6-3, in American League action at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The standout performance belonged to Cleveland pitcher and Kings Point, New York, native Ben Cole. Katsumi Omura recorded the save for Cleveland, his 22nd of the season. The Guardians raised their record to 36-53.
Rick O'Reilly, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. O'Reilly contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Cleveland up, 2-0.
"We did a lot of things right," said O'Reilly.
